Specifications include, but are not limited to: Evaluate HVAC systems at the Bismarck Event Center and Belle Mehus Auditorium related to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) air borne transmission, i.e. measure existing air flow and air filtration rates, determine MERV rating on existing filters, determine status of negative pressure in key areas. The successful firm shall provide evaluation of solutions that are effective in killing microorganisms (mold, bacteria, virus, etc.), as well as controlling gas phase contaminants generated from human occupants, building structure and furnishings. The firm will develop best practice/cost effective recommendations and design solutions based on industry proven technology, and any proposed requirements/standards being proposed by the entertainment industry, performing artists, and arena/event center promoters to reduce the spread of COVID19 in the Event Center and Belle Mehus. Preparing plans, specifications and bidding documents will be a requirement of the selected firm. Also included shall be construction/installation administration services for the Facility Air Quality Upgrade
