Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Scope of Work general consists of furnishing all labor and materials for 15kV underground construction and demolition of existing electrical utilities, along with installation of new service entrance at Starcher Hall. Major material in the base bid includes roughly 2,100 feet of 5” multicell duct bank via trenching, 500 feet of 5” multicell duct bank via horizontal directional drilling; one (1) 1000KVA padmounted transformer; one (1) pad-mounted switch; installing of one (1) Owner furnished pad-mounted switch; four (4) new manholes; approximately 9,000 feet of #500kcmil aluminum 15kV cables in duct with 3,000 feet of associated ground conductor, 1,650 feet of 1/0 aluminum 15kV cables in duct with 550 feet of associated ground conductor, and 600 feet of #350kcmil aluminum conductor with 150 feet associated ground conductor. Method of duct bank and conduit installation shall be trench and backfill with horizontal directional drilling (HDD) techniques required under pavement.
