Specifications include, but are not limited to: General Office and Public Areas. Computer keyboards, monitors, typewriters and calculators are not to be cleaned in any manner by the Contractor’s employees. The users of these items will perform cleaning. Also, desks and work surfaces that are not cleared off shall not be cleaned. All vacuuming is to be performed using a vacuum equipped with a HEPA filtration system that meets all State and Federal legal requirements. Spot cleaning of any carpet is performed when there is a noticeable foreign substance that needs to be removed, and it is not the scheduled timeframe to thoroughly clean the affected area. Upon completion of cleaning, all floors shall be free of dust, dirt, film streaks, debris and standing water and present a uniform clean appearance. There should be no visible build-up of wax, dirt or discoloration around the edge of the hard floor where it meets the cove molding, nor at any corners or doorjambs. Replacement of light bulbs as necessary to keep all work and storage areas appropriately illuminated, not including the gym. Contractor needs to provide a quote for services including all cleaning supplies. Supplies needed in the monthly quote for janitorial services provided by the Contractor shall include all cleaning supplies, including, but not limited to: Trash-can liners, Vacuum HEPA Filters, Light Bulbs, Carpet Shampoo, Pre-moistened Cleaning Cloth, Bathroom Tissue, Toilet Seat Covers, Paper Towels, Hand-Soap, Spray Cleansers, General Purpose Cleaners, Deep Cleaners, Bathroom Cleaners, Glass Cleaners, Polishers, Disinfectants, Sanitizers and any other specialty chemicals as necessary.
