Specifications include, but are not limited to: This proposal is for agricultural chemicals (pesticide and/or fertilizer) and related supplies to be applied as needed by Southeast Research Farm, and can be awarded to multiple vendors. All prices must be firm for the 2021-growing season. Quantity, and type of merchandise needed will depend on soil, crop, and weather conditions. Multiple transactions will begin in March 2021. Agricultural chemicals may be picked up as needed by Southeast Farm personnel from vendors located within 30 miles of Southeast Farm. Vendors located farther than 30 miles from Southeast Farm must include delivery in price and items need to be delivered 24 hours after order is placed. Specify container sizes, formulation(s), and/or units (ton, gal, lb, oz, pkg, etc.) being bid. Dry fertilizers will be ordered delivered in vendor owned spreaders for application to fields by Southeast Farm; and liquid fertilizers must be delivered in bulk and transferred to Southeast Farm storage tanks (approximately 1,000-gal increments) or left in portable tanks provided by the vendor within 24 hours after orders are placed.
