The consulting/engineering firm or team shall have a strong background and experience in river dynamics, river morphology, river sediment transport modeling, river engineering, geotechnical engineering and structural engineering. The firm/team shall have considerable experience with the design and construction of steel sheet piling structures in a river environment. The chosen firm/team shall provide a final design, permitting, and construction oversight of the fishing access area. This request for proposal describes the partial new design of fishing access area, the scope of issues to be corrected, contents of proposals, and the procedure and criteria for final selection of a consulting engineering firm. The estimated value of this contract is $75,000.
