Specifications include, but are not limited to: Nevada’s Quality and Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) uses the Environmental Rating Scales (ERS) as the primary tool to in the rating and assessment process for childcare programs in the state. The scales act as a guide for the observational process in Early Childhood programs in the state. This contract will identify an agency that will oversee the implementation and overall management of the assessors used to rate programs as well as provide training and technical assistance for program managers, teachers and coaches. The contractor will be responsible for providing the QRIS Administration with continued support with the Administration of the Program Assessment process. Through this process an Anchor assessor, lead assessor will be appointed, and additional part time and full-time assessors necessary to support the needs of the northern and southern parts of the state.
