Specifications include, but are not limited to: MATERIALS: a. Electrically operated, fold up unit – “Draper” fold-up divider, electronically operated curtain or approved equal. DESCRIPTION a. Approximate curtain size: 85’ wide x 25’ high (all measurements will be verified by the contractor). b. Floor to 10’ will be vinyl (18 oz.) and the top section an open mesh. The colors to be selected by the owner from the manufacture’s samples. c. The controls for operation of the curtain will include a keyed lock out function. Pricing should be for base specifications and/or as described here. INSTALLATION: a. The option of supporting the curtain system form the existing roof purlins has been suggested and approved by the owner. Other options will be considered. The underside of the roof deck at the low point is approximately 30’ and the high point approximately 44’ (all measurements will be verified by the contractor). Refer to the attached pictures. b. Regardless of the installation method all cost for engineering, design and related materials will be included in the provided proposal. c. All materials and the installation of all materials will be included in this contract. Except the following: the City will provide power (conduit and wiring) to the controls and from there to the motor. The installer will be responsible for temporary power and testing of the equipment. GENERAL: a. Protection of the gym floor and the materials surrounding the installation will be the responsibility of the contractor and all related cost will be included in this proposal. b. Working hours for this project will be between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM c. Prior to commencing work, a proposed work schedule will be coordinated with the owner.
