Specifications include, but are not limited to: Enhance comprehensive care for children with special health care needs (CSHCN) whose access to appropriate care is hindered by disability, economic, cultural, linguistic, or other social/structural barriers. Increase the participation of families with CSHCN in planning and delivery of services in all programmatic areas, including the assessment of consumer satisfaction. Increase current services to CSHCN and their families, including community-based consultation. Enhance the ability of established organizations linked to communities to provide quality health care and family support to CSHCN. Integrate services to enhance the system of care and coordinate service delivery.
