Specifications include, but are not limited to: State is soliciting proposals for a Contractor to provide self-advocacy training and peer-mentoring services for students with disabilities who have been determined eligible for Pre-Employment Transition Services by a State VR counselor or who are potentially eligible for VR services. Eligible students are defined as: 1. Eligible for, and receiving, special education or related services under Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (20 U.S.C. 1411 et seq.); or 2. An individual with a disability, for purposes of section 504. The Contractors staff for this project will have knowledge and experience providing training and peer mentoring for transition-aged students with disabilities.
