Specifications include, but are not limited to: NDDOT requests bids for paint stripers that mount on a flatbed pickup. The intent of this specification is to describe a 3-gun carriage airless paint striper with compressor, pumps, engine and glass bead dispenser that mounts on a flatbed pickup. The paint striper shall be capable of painting a double center line and single edge line, two colors, airless atomization of the paint, and gravity flow glass bead applicator(s). The striper shall be capable of sucking paint out of on-board paint drums or totes. The striper shall be single operator capable with no need for an operator station on the striper unit or steerable carriage. The striper is to be used by the NDDOT district sign shop personnel for re-establishing pavement markings as well as creating new markings on recent maintenance roadway overlay and seal projects, either on mainline or intersections.
