Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor to provide F.O.B. various locations throughout the Helena Area, all labor, equipment, material and incidentals necessary to perform miscellaneous electrical work on an “as needed” basis for the MDT Helena Area Facilities for the period April 1, 2021 through March 31, 2022. All parts and supplies will be paid up to, but not higher than, manufacturer’s suggested list price along with any applicable freight charges. The Department will notify the Contractor when services are needed. Notification will include the description and location of the project, the name and phone number of the contact person listed below. Contractor is required to respond within twelve (12) hours of initial call and start work within two (2) days. Contractor MUST speak directly to the contact person within the twelve (12) hour response time. Work will be completed 7:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, except holidays observed by the State; after hour exceptions may be made with approval from the Facilities Bureau. If the Contractor is not able to respond within the required time frame; the Department reserves the right to hire an electrician that is able to respond within the required time frame. If there is an electrical emergency as determined by the Department; the Contractor agrees to respond within one (1) hour or less. The Department will pay a minimum of one (1 hour at the “1-hour response rate”) for all emergency work. If the Contractor is not able to respond within the one (1) hour time frame; the Department reserves the right to hire an electrician that is able to respond within one (1) hour.
