Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Contractor shall provide 90-day California Highway Patrol (CHP) Basic Inspection of Terminals (BIT) Inspection services for California Prison Industry Authority. A. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, including travel and per diem, materials, nonconsumable supplies, transportation, equipment and every other item of expense necessary to perform services. 2. The services shall be performed at California State Prison-Solano – Solano Warehouse, 2100 Peabody Road, Vacaville, CA 95696, or roadside as needed. 3. The on-site services shall be provided during regular business hours 8:00 A.M. through 3:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except State holidays. Roadside services shall be provided on an on-call basis. 4. Service shall be available not later than the express date set by CALPIA and the Contractor, after all approvals have been obtained, the agreement is fully executed, and an ERPLX Tracking Number is issued. Should the Contractor fail to commence work at the agreed upon time, the CALPIA, upon five (5) days written notice to the Contractor, reserves the right to terminate the agreement effective immediately. In addition, the Contractor shall be liable to the CALPIA for the difference between Contractor’s bid price and the actual cost of performing work by another best value contractor.
