Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Texas Education Agency (TEA), on behalf of the State Board of Education (SBOE), is seeking proposals to provide statewide high school equivalency examinations aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), the Texas College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS), and be equivalent to requirements of the Foundation graduation program. The awarded contractor(s) will provide a high school equivalency examination that shall be the basis for TEA to issue the Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency (TxCHSE). The awarded contractor(s) will contract directly with TEAapproved testing centers and correctional facilities across the state to provide the examinations.
