Specifications include, but are not limited to: Install new Street Lane Concrete similar to attached detail but with no center median. Street width to match existing onsite width, detail is for visual representation of what we want as a final product. Install 8” doweled concrete, reinforced 18” O.C.E.W. with #4 bar placed 1/3 of way up from bottom of concrete supported by chairs, 8” NDDOT Class 5 base or recycled concrete, NDDOT type R1 reinforcement fabric, and 12” of scarified and compacted base. Perform Proof Roll on base material for Owner before placing base material. Any rework to be included as part of bid price. Install a 4” perforated PVC pipe down the center of the street in a small channel. Locate top of channel below the gravel base to collect any seepage into the base. Run the fabric down and through the channel before place Class 5. Run perforated pipe to storm structure. See detail. Install new curb and gutter as shown in detail. Connect to existing high back curb with three #4 bars x 12”. Apply white curing compound after concrete is placed, installed per manufacturer’s instructions. Provide sawcut control joints at 10’ maximum spacing or as decided with Owner to provide proper placement. The cold joint between pours shall be doweled between sections at 24” O.C. Use ½” x12” smooth tie bars, epoxied into curb. Grease every other end of panel dowels to allow for contraction. Concrete shall be 4,000 psi at 28 days. Irrigation heads are located behind curb. Contractor to repair irrigation lines to original condition. Backfill curb with rock free black soil. Do not leave waste pieces of concrete hidden behind the curb, clean the debris out before backfilling. Apply seed and hydraulic-mulch after seed is raked in to the topsoil. Contractor is responsible for directing traffic around the construction area with barriers. Inlet protection by Contractor. Misc. asphalt patching by Contractor. Contractor to sweep access areas every day to minimize dirt on street. At end of project street to be swept clean. Work to start May 17, 2021 and Work to be completed by July 16, 2021. Builders risk insurance or performance bond not required. Testing of concrete quality not required.
