Specifications include, but are not limited to: In collaboration with project staff and program faculty, the IPSL Instructional Designer will facilitate the design and development of an integrated curriculum to prepare library media specialists to develop an effective school library program. Curriculum will be aligned with Montana’s Indian Education for All mandate and Alaska’s K-12 Cultural Standards. The Instructional Designer will: advise the project staff and program faculty in designing and developing learning objectives, assessments, and content in accordance with Quality Matters principles; collaborate with project staff with each stage of the curriculum development process; advise the project staff and program faculty on incorporating relevant technology into courses; provide training and guidance as needed on design theories, practices, and methods in online course delivery; assist program faculty with the development of audio, visual, and multimedia learning aids.
