Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2 EACH NEW, 3,000 GALLON ANTI-ICING LIQUID STORAGE TANKS AND TRANSFER SYSTEMS AS PER THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM D.O.T. SPECIFICATIONS ; 2 EACH NEW, 5,000 GALLON ANTI-ICING LIQUID STORAGE TANKS AND TRANSFER SYSTEMS AS PER THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM D.O.T. SPECIFICATIONS; SPECIFICATIONS FOR 3,000 7 5,000 GALLON COMPLETE VERTICAL STORAGE TANK AND TRANSFER SYSTEM 1.0 Tank: The tank shall be constructed of rotationally molded, high-density linear polyethylene with a minimum holding capacity of 3,000 & 5000 US gallons. The tank shall be UV stabilized and shall carry a specific gravity rating of no less than 1.0. The top of the tank shall be non-removable, and equipped with an 18” threaded man-way for interior access to the tank, molded in lifting lugs to insure safety in unloading, relocating and installing the tank. There shall be 2 – 2” 316 SS bolted fittings installed in the tank. One fitting shall be installed as close to the bottom as possible for suction and draining, and the other fitting shall be installed at the top of the tank for recirculation and filling capabilities. The bottom tank outlet shall be equipped with a stainless steel nipple, brass ball valve, and male poly camlock fitting to connect to the mating hoses connected to the pump. 2.0 Pump: The pump shall be a 1 ½” inlet x 1 ½” outlet bronze centrifugal pump with a stainless steel shaft and mechanical seal. The pump shall be close coupled to a 2 HP, 115/230 volt, single phase, 3450 RPM, TEFC motor. Based on water, this pump shall be capable of pumping 90 GPM at 20 PSI. The pump assembly shall be mounted on a galvanized or powder coated steel frame and enclosed in a UV stabilized polyethylene enclosure. The frame shall incorporate a 5’ vertical post, which will include a hose rack to store the fill and unload hoses in the off season, as well as, provide a place to mount the pump control and run light. The run light shall be red in color and will illuminate with the pump when the pump is turned on.
