Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State seeks, from qualified entities, proposals that assist the State in measuring students’ attainment of the State’s standards in mathematics and English language arts, measures which are also used to assess students’ career and college readiness. Qualified entities will havethe knowledge, expertise, experience, and resources to support provision of career ready assessments of student academic skills in a minimum of both mathematics and English language arts. We are only interested in proposals that propose an “off-the shelf” solution. The assessments, when taken together, or in combination with others, should be a proxy for career and college ready skills, and could be accepted and recognized by business and industry as a credential or have a proven track record of acceptance from employers as a recognized credential, and can be recognized for credit by colleges and universities.
