Specifications include, but are not limited to: Initial walk through and general trash clean up and debris removal prior to mowing. Remove all paper, bottles, and miscellaneous trash. Mowing of the entire required area. Mulch all leafs during mowing. Edge the grass along all hard surfaces including walks, curbs, and streets. String trim all areas not accessible by mowers including bed edges, building edges, sign posts, fences, play equipment, around trees, power poles, etc. Pick-up and disposal of any fallen tree twigs and branches. Blow and clean-up of all hard surfaces after mowing, edging and trimming; remove grass debris. Appropriate repairs to areas where ruts are made by lawn equipment All walkways shall be edged every week the site is serviced. A string trimmer shall be acceptable for this purpose; unless the quality of workmanship descends to an unacceptable approval level. All hardscapes perimeters and cervices shall be string trimmed each time an area is serviced. This will include, but may not be limited to, curbs, parking lots, sidewalk cracks, fence lines, power boxes, tree bases, and other such areas to complete this work satisfactorily. The Contractor shall be responsible for blowing sidewalks, curb line and hardscapes for debris resulting from mowing, trimming and/or edging of service area. The Contractor shall perform mowing, trimming and edging services a minimum of once on a weekly basis. Grass collection shall not be required under this contract The Contractor shall apply two applications of Round-up® to all applicable hard-ways, concrete or paved, where grass grows between the cracks and weed-eating is not practical. The Contractor will apply Round-up® once at contract start-up and once in August. This service shall be included in your proposal pricing per site. It is recommended that this service cost be spread over the contract period applicable to the site. Herbicide shall be applied to fence line. The Owner strongly encourages the Contractor to walk the grounds prior to mowing
