Specifications include, but are not limited to: TheVermont Department for Children and Families’(DCF) mission is to foster healthy development, safety, well-being, and self-sufficiency of Vermonters. The Department is structured around six Divisionsthat deliver programs and services to Vermonters;one of those Divisions is theEconomic Services Division (“ESD”). ESDadministers several benefits programs that help Vermonters meet their basic needs, including the General Assistance (GA) Program. The GA Program’s oversees the Vermont Rental Subsidy Program(VRS), which supports Vermonters with low-incomes that are in need of safe, reliable, and affordable housing through the provision of short-term rental assistance and case management services.
