Specifications include, but are not limited to:. Contractor provide all labor and material for the work. Confirm location of sidewalk, lights, planting beds, etc. with Owner. Contractor to provide lump sum price for all wall and an additional unit cost per square foot for additional 6” reinforced concrete. Remove all existing sunken seating areas, planting areas & trees, and concrete as required. Protect existing buildings during removals. Remove and replace existing cast iron sanitary piping as shown on the drawing with new similar sized PVC piping. Install new storm sewer piping as shown on the drawing. Routing may vary to increase efficiency of flow. Storm piping for roof drains shall extend up to let the downspout be inside the new pipe. Yard drains will need covers. Install three new sidewalk light bases, wiring and lights. Lights to be supplied by NDSU. Coordinate with owner for feed location for lighting circuit. Lights shown in approximate location. Wiring shall be in plastic conduit. Owner has forms for the light bases that the contractor can use for the stepped bases that are required. Install new 6” concrete sidewalk reinforced 18” on center as shown on drawing. Sidewalk to slope away from existing stoops to new trash can pad area to make area ADA compliant. Cross slope shall be ADA compliant also. Install 2 new curbed seating areas. Owner to supply and install pavers and benches. Location of sidewalks, seating pads, and planting areas shown as approximates. In all areas of disturbed turf around the new concrete provide 6” of fresh black rock free soil. No chunks of concrete debris are to be left onsite from concrete work. Hydroseed and mulch needs to be applied to the locations outside of the Patio area. NDSU will water the seeded areas after they are installed.
