Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry (“Department”) is seeking proposals from accredited certifiers to perform a full recertification audit under the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) program and an annual surveillance audit under the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) program in 2021. In addition, the certifier must also perform annual surveillance audits during each of the four years following the initial audits. This document provides instructions for submitting proposals, the procedure and criteria by which the awarded Bidder will be selected, and the contractual terms which will govern the relationship between the State of Maine (“State”) and the awarded Bidder.
