Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Contractor shall have a regular work place of business located within two hundred (200)nautical miles (straight line, by air) of the furthest base to be covered within the contract, in relation to the contractor’s home base. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, required materials, tools, supplies, certificates, licenses, and/or permits, and insurance necessary to maintain and/or repair up to four (4) Airbus Helicopters AS350B3 or AS350B3e helicopters, or a combination of AS350B3 and AS350B3e helicopters totaling four(4). All certificates, licenses and permits shall be current and in effect throughout the term of the contract. Contractor’s regular place of business shall be available for inspection by CHP and access granted to CHP employees while CHP aircraft are being maintained or CHP parts or equipment are on-site. 2) The Contractor shall possess and maintain a valid FAA approved repair station certificate(s), as prescribed in Part 145 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), necessary to conduct the level of maintenance required by the provisions of this Agreement. The repair station certificate(s) shall be for the address listed on the bid form.3) Within thirty (30) days of Agreement effective start date, Contractor shall complete a review of all aircraft and their respective maintenance logbooks and report any discrepancies to the OAO and the aerial supervisor of the affected aircraft, along with recommendations for correcting any discrepancies. 4) Within sixty (60) days of Agreement effective start date, Contractor shall complete an inventory of all parts, tools, supplies, and support equipment located at each CHP base and provide a written report of findings to the base aerial supervisor and the OAO. Inventory shall be completed with the aerial supervisor or aircraft maintenance officer at the base being inventoried. At the OAO’s discretion Contractor may be required to work with outgoing maintenance contractors to accomplish this inventory. Inventory shall be entered into the designated computerized maintenance tracking system, and updated regular when items are used and received.5) Contractor shall coordinate and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for the CHP helicopters located at the bases listed in Item 2. Scheduled maintenance includes all manufacturers’ required maintenance for the airframe, engine, and all installed equipment (including instructions for continued airworthiness). Scheduled maintenance also includes CHP mandated maintenance, which may be at more frequent intervals than manufacturer requirements.
