Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1.1 Products must meet the performance requirements of the Society of Automotive Engineer (SAE) Aerospace Material Specifications (AMS) most current editions of SAE AMS 1431E, Compound, Solid Runway and Taxiway Deicing/Anti-icing, and SAE AMS 1435D, Liquid Runway Deicing/AntiIcing Product (as applicable to particular product type). 2.1.2 Glycol-based products and urea are not approved, and bids will not be accepted for such products. 2.1.3 For each product being bid, a bidder must submit evidence of both: a) the initial independent laboratory pre-production test, showing compliance with applicable SAE/AMS standards b) the most recent independent laboratory acceptance test, showing compliance with applicable SAE/AMS standards
