Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Lamoille County Planning Commission (LCPC) is soliciting statements of qualifications from consultants or teams of consultants to provide technical assistance for its pilot Community Facilities Disaster Mitigation Technical Assistance Program. In 2020, LCPC was awarded $94,277 in Disaster Recovery Technical Assistance funds from U.S.D.A Rural Development to provide direct technical assistance to further develop projects that show high potential to protect important community facilities in Lamoille County that are vulnerable to flooding. Approximately $55,000 will be available for contractual professional design services related to hydraulic modeling, engineering/survey, architecture, and landscape architecture. Specific projects/tasks are outlined in the application submitted to USDA, included in this RFQ as an attachment. LCPC anticipates creating a shortlist of approximately 3-5 consultants or consultant teams prequalified to complete these tasks. The shortlist may also be utilized for projects funded through other funding streams including, but not limited to, FEMA Mitigation Grants and water quality grants funded by the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources
