Specifications include, but are not limited to: Fiduciary counsel will perform the following duties: a. Respond with oral or written legal opinions to questions regarding fiduciary duties and processes submitted by the SBOE, the Chairman of the SBOE, the Chief Investment Officer/Executive Administrator, or the TEA General Counsel. b. Review investment policies and procedures as requested, review proposed changes, and submit comments and recommendations to TPSF staff and the SBOE.; Investment contracting counsel will perform the following duties, among others, as needed: a. Assist and advise TPSF staff and investment counsels with respect to the investment due diligence for these transactions. b. If requested by TPSF, counsel will perform additional legal due diligence and prepare memoranda discussing the organization of the fund investment selected, material and/or significant terms of the proposed investment.; Real Estate counsel will perform the following duties: a. Provide specialized legal advice pertaining to Real Estate Law and Real Estate Investment Law. b. Negotiate, document and close complex real estate and finance transactions and obtain entitlements in complicated land use and leasing matters.;
