Proofs: High resolution, contract color proofs of all pages (such as Epson®), plus laser imposition proof of guide. Timeframe: (on or before) March 17, 2021: artwork to printer. March 24, 2021: printer to provide prepress proofs. On-site Press Check: Bid price must include the cost of having a representative of the ND Dept. of Commerce attend an on-site press check. Bidders are NOT to figure in the related travel expenses but to include any expenses that the actual press check may incur; such as press-time, make-ready waste, etc. The ND Dept. of Commerce will pay their own related expenses for travel (airfare, rental car, mileage, etc.), meals and lodging in accordance with North Dakota Fiscal and Administrative Policy for their representative. Pages: 40 pages plus cover. Page Size: 8” x 10 ¾”. Paper Stock: Cover: 100# white gloss, TEXT weight, freesheet, #3 or better, (minimum 86 brightness). Text: matching 60# white gloss coated text, freesheet, #3 or better, (minimum 86 brightness). Paper samples: Submit unprinted sample sheets of the stock. Failure to submit samples may result in bid rejection. (please see Item 10, on page 6 of this bid for grading specs and sample info.) Printing: Four color process throughout, 4/4, full bleeds. Finishing: Fold, saddle stitch, final trim to 8” x 10 ¾”. Packaging: Pack in uniform size cartons with 32# maximum weight per carton. Label cartons with “2021 ND Visitor Guide” and quantity per carton. Palletize cartons.
