Specifications include, but are not limited to: NHSP requested funds in the SFY 20/21 budget process to implement an in-vehicle camera, body-worn camera and Digital Evidence Management System project. The project envisions a vendor providing, installing and maintaining equipment for in-vehicle cameras and body-worn cameras for approximately 259 sworn State Troopers and their vehicles, a cloud hosted Digital Evidence Management System, associated tools and the network required to move the data from the cameras to the repository. Each vehicle would be outfitted with a front facing and a rear facing camera to capture interactions with the public and an interior camera to capture the rear seat in the event that a citizen is transported in the vehicle. Each Trooper would use a body-worn camera as an integrated portion of the in-vehicle installation capturing video and audio.
