Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.1 The flat nose trailer shall be totally enclosed and allow the mounting of equipment, with minimum payload capacity of 4,725 lbs. The unit shall have side flow thru vents on each side of trailer, and a (24)” inch tall aluminum stone guard on outside front of trailer. 1.2 Trailer size shall be an approximately (19) feet (8)” inches long, (102”) inches wide, eighty (80) inches high. Overall interior height shall be a minimum of 75 inches. 1.3 Trailer shall be equipped with a pintle eye with the dimensions of 3” I.D. eye with a 1 5/8” section drawbar and have the capability of vertical adjustment of 18” to 25” measured from ground level. The tongue frame shall extend a minimum of (4)’ feet into the bottom of the frame of the chassis (i.e. not welded only to the front floor crossmember). 1.4 Platform height shall be a maximum of (19) inches. 1.5 Trailer shall have (2) rear doors, with a minimum opening of (72)” wide by (75)” high with latches to hold doors fully open against the sides of the trailer. 1.6 Trailer shall have a personnel door mounted on curb side front corner of trailer. Approximately (32)” wide by (66)” high. This door shall also have a latch to hold it open against the trailer. 1.7 All doors shall have cam type bar lock, and locking hasps. 1.8 Trailer shall be of adequate structural steel, with all necessary reinforcements, made from a minimum of 2” x 4” tubing or 6” I beam. 1.9 Trailer structural floor supports shall be a minimum of (16)” on center and constructed of (3)” steel channel stock. Wall supports shall be a minimum of (16)” on center. 1.10 Trailer floor shall be a minimum of ¾” exterior grade plywood. Interior walls shall be a minimum of 3/8” plywood. Exterior skin shall be a minimum of 0.30 aluminum. Roof shall be constructed of 0.80 aluminum and be (1) piece construction or equivalent material.
