Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The Contractor must: 1. Provide administration of Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, 2nd edition (ADOS-2) assessment or Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R) with children birth to three (3) years of age as referred by the Department. The Contractor must receive a referral from the Department prior to administering any assessment. a. Administration includes providing observation and coding of the ADOS-2 or ADI-R including scoring, interpretation, and submission of written report to the Department. 2. Schedule and complete authorized ADOS-2 or ADI-R assessments no later than fourteen (14) calendar days after receiving a referral from the Department. a. The Contractor must choose which assessment is most appropriate for each child and family. 3. Explain assessment results to the family of the referred child and their primary service provider as requested by the Department. III. Records and Documentation A. The Contractor must maintain documentation of each assessment delivered, including the date, time and duration of the assessment, and must be signed by the person delivering the assessment service. IV. Quality Assurance A. In cooperation with the Department, the Contractor must develop a quality assurance plan that documents the process to be used in assuring the quality of services provided for each task in this contract. 1. The quality assurance plan must be completed within ninety (90) days of the Contract’s initiation. B. The Contractor must meet regularly with, and as needed or requested by, the Department to discuss individual case status, treatment recommendations and service responsibilities.
