Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Security shall provide security service at the shelter for seven (7) days per week between the hours of 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. • Resident safety: Unless otherwise instructed by the City, each Shelter resident is to remain in their own room at the Shelter. No visitors are allowed in the designated resident area of the shelter other than medical care providers, social service personnel, and food delivery. If resident refuses to comply or leaves the shelter, the shelter resident may be asked to leave. • Use of PPE: All security officers must wear N-95 masks provided by the applicant, puncture-resistant gloves, and any other reasonably necessary personal protective equipment (PPE). At all times, while on duty at a shelter, security officers will wear the proper PPE.
