Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor must: Provide both scheduled and random testing. Require photo identification of client before testing. Ensure all specimen collections are observed by staff that are the same gender as the client (rescheduling may occur to allow same gender as client observation with Department approval). The Department will not honor any specimen that has not been observed. Documentation verifying observation must include, but is not limited to: Name of observer; Signature of observer; and Date and time of observation. Upon request of the Department, ensure all non-negative results are tested by a nationally certified lab. With the exception of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) confirmations, return test results to the referring worker within two (2) business days of receipt. Test results must be sent as an electronic email attachment to the referring worker or available on a web-based notification system.
