Specifications include, but are not limited to: Installation of approximately 2,900 LF of new 12-inch water mains along Adams Street., 37th Street and Clay Street. The new water lines will replace existing 6-inch and 4-inch water lines along Adams St. and 37th Street and will be an extension of the system along Clay Street. The work will include replacement of 1" and 2" potable water services and fire services. The work includes flushing and disinfection and all bacteria and pressure testing. Seven (7) new or replacement fire hydrants are planned to be installed. The work includes abandonment of existing 6-inch and 4-inch water mains and services and includes surface repairs of concrete curb, sidewalk, asphalt pavement, and sod landscaping.
