Specifications include, but are not limited to: THE ELEVATOR COMPANY SHALL – be responsible for inspecting the elevator equipment, which includes the elevator machine room, elevator pit, elevator hoist way and elevator car. The inspection also includes the hoist way structure, machine room structure for fire rating. The elevator company inspector shall witness the testing of the related fire initiating devices for the elevator that includes each elevator lobby, associated machine room, elevator pit and elevator hoist way. The cost for all actions stated above to accomplish the annual inspection shall be included as part of the monthly fee submitted in the Elevator Testing/Inspection portion of this bid. Note: The Elevator Company shall be responsible for any fees for the fire alarm company due to the Elevator Company’s late arrival, no show or late cancellation.
