Specifications include, but are not limited to: Removal and replacement of existing five Baxi Luna HT 1.650 [each rated241,600 BTU/h input] wall hung natural gas boilers and associated control system, as needed,currently at the end of their life expectancy. New boilers and boiler control system to be installed in existing mechanical room. Proposalshould consider the below list of additional requirements:-Utilize roof vent points and natural gas supply of existing system. Repair roof andexisting vent and gas lines as required.-Install new low water cut offs, boiler feed valves, and backflow prevention as requiredfor the system.-All new heating piping shall be constructed of pex or Type M copper.-Modify header piping to accept new boiler piping.-Install condensate neutralizer and connect condensate to building drain in boiler room.-Complete all low and line voltage wiring as required.-Complete start-up and commissioning of the system the heating system.-Provide all manuals for operation of the boilers and controls.-Provide adequate training on the use of controls including basic troubleshootingfeatures of the boilers and controls.-Remove from the facility and dispose of all metal, plastic, paper, cardboard, and otheritems associated with the decommissioning or installation. Disposal shall be throughrecycling when possible.-Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.-Review and be prepared to complete the City’s Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Control Guidechecklist, planning, and inspection forms prior to staring any work on site. If no IAQimpact is anticipated this shall be documents prior to start of work. Should an IAQ issuearise that impacts facility personnel, the Proposer will be required to stop work untilappropriate IAQ planning and controls are in place. Any such delay shall be at theProposer’s expense
