Specifications include, but are not limited to: The systems would need to include options for new, renewing or temporary permits. Checks would need to be in place to prevent customers from reapplying before a certain date. New and temporary permits require additional documents from physicians. The system would need to be able to upload these documents. After an application is submitted by the customer, an alert would need to send to specific department personal to review the application. After the reviewal process and electronic permit would be send to the customer. The system to allow for the manual data entry of applications. The availability of these permits at local offices is a feature we do not want to take away from our customers. GFP staff needs to be able to enter the applications manual into the system and be able to print of permits for customers. An override feature would need to be in place so that GFP staff can correct or change information entered into the system. i.e. the customer applies for a new 4 yr. permit, but the doctor indicates the they only have a temporary condition A data base/spreadsheet for each permit (crossbows/disabled hunter) would need to be created to house all the information associated with each application. For renewing permits the system would need to draw information from the created permit database as well as the licensing. the system would need to be able to interface with LEMS or allow law enforcement staff to pull information while in the field. Automatic email reminders of when permits need to be renewed would also be a beneficial feature.
