Specifications include, but are not limited to: The program is currently seeking training on a variety of topics including both soft skills and technical or scientific skills and knowledge. Soft skills would include trainings such as grant writing, public speaking, leadership, networking, time management, resume development, interviewing and other skills that will assist young professionals as they prepare to enter the workforce. Technical/scientific knowledge could include environmental sampling, geospatial analysis, water quality, soil health, green stormwater infrastructure, wildlife conservation, land conservation, climate science, or other topics relevant to environmental protection and restoration in Vermont. The program anticipates offering approximately 4 - 6 trainings with up to $3,000 available for the total training series.
