Required equipment for this sale includes: feller buncher, grapple skidder, slasher and a whole tree chipper. Chipping of tops and limbs is not required but chipping of softwood pulp-type products must be unless a market emerges. Top and limbs are to be hauled back into the woods and distributed evenly along skid trails. Management includes both marked wood areas and designated areas. Either a pull-through delimber or stroke delimber may be used. Harvester specifications are as follows: Minimum weight of at least 50,000 lbs. including felling head. Maximum weight of no more than 72,000 lbs. including felling head. Maximum width of no more than 11’ 6” as measured to the outside of the tracks. Minimum boom reach of 25 feet from the center of the undercarriage to the outside of the head. Maximum tail swing over the side of 18”. Skidder specifications are as follows: Maximum width of 12’ 6” outside tires.
