Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Idaho Department of Correction (IDOC) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) in an effort to better understand what options, functionality, services, content and reporting options may be available in the marketplace for web based or commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) learning management system (LMS) platforms. The IDOC is committed to the safety and security of those individuals under our charge and our staff. A sound training program with up to date content allows IDOC the ability to develop, track, deliver, and continually improve the training provided to staff, incarcerated and supervised individuals, contractors, and volunteers (“Users”). IDOC is seeking in-depth information that is platform and system centric, content and program centric, or both. This RFI is intended to gather information and insights from entities that provide technology, services, features, functionality, enhancements, applications, content, and other offerings associated with LMS platforms and which is are tailored to the public safety, corrections, and probation & parole environments. The information obtained through this RFI may be utilized to develop a Request for Proposal (RFP). An RFP, if developed, will include a July 1, 2021 go live date.
