Specifications include, but are not limited to:. The selected consultant is expected to perform technical, planning, design and other pre-construction activities generally outlined as preliminary engineering and assisting the Town with selecting a solution to resolve UWPD’s deficiencies. More specifically, the work will include item #6 in LOD #17-038 dated December 11, 2017, which stated that by October 1, 2020 the Town shall "Submit all necessary environmental permit applications (dam reconstruction and dredge and fill) to upgrade your dam to meet requirements associated with existing High hazard dams (see Chapter Env-Wr 300 of NHDES's regulations)." The Town will receive an extension to this deadline, however the work will need to be completed by October 1, 2021. . It is expected the consultant will also assist the Town with completing #8 of LOD #17-038, which stated "Complete reconstruction or removal/modification of the dam in accordance with permits issued as part of item #6 or #7 above." This is expected to be completed by October 1, 2022 under a subsequent FEMA grant and engineering scope of work.
