Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Saw cutting, removal, and disposal of existing asphalt pavement and existing cobblestone retaining wall at the Highway Department’s storage yard. • Removal and disposal of a section of an existing cobble stone and mortar retaining wall. • Furnishing and installing two new catch basins and associated HDPE drainage pipe. • Furnishing and installing new vertical granite curb to establish the new intersection alignment, and the modification of existing granite curb to establish new handicapped accessible sidewalks. • Furnishing and installing permanent pavement patches for drainage component installations, around the new curb installation, and at the new handicapped accessible ramps. • Furnishing and installing new asphalt pavement sidewalks. • Furnishing and installing loam, seed and straw mulch matting within the new island areas. • Traffic control throughout the duration of the project. • Erosion and sediment control.
