Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The Contractor must provide standard lube, oil, and oil filter service and safety checks as outlined below: 1. Vehicles which require synthetic oil 2008 or newer (See Attachment F - Vehicle List): a. A detailed safety check every five thousand (5,000) miles or three (3) months. b. If, per the manufacturer’s recommendations, a vehicle is within five thousand (5,000) miles of a scheduled lube, oil, and oil filter change service, the Contractor must perform the lube, oil, and filter change service and perform the detailed safety check using the Safety and Preventative Maintenance Checklist (Attachment G). c. If, per the manufacturer’s recommendations, a vehicle is NOT within five thousand (5,000) miles of a scheduled lube, oil, and oil filter change service, only perform the detailed safety check service using the Safety Inspection and Preventative Maintenance Checklist (Attachment G). 2. Vehicle maintenance required to be performed on each vehicle per manufacturer standards at the required time. Services include but are not limited to: a. Transmission flush. b. Air filter replacement. c. Services included on the Safety Inspection and Preventive Maintenance Checklist (Attachment G). d. Other services as needed and as approved by the Contract Manager, Hub Manager, Car Coordinator or his/her designated representative. B. The Contractor must provide maintenance reminders in the form of a vinyl sticker to be applied inside the upper portion of the driver’s windshield with mileage information and or approximate date of next oil change. C. The Contractor must notify the Car Coordinator or his/her designated representative of any excess wear or damage to the tires documented on the Safety Inspection and Preventive Maintenance Checklist (Attachment G). D. The Contractor must notify the Contract Manager, Hub Manager, Car Coordinator, or his/her designated representative when tire rotation services are due and/or appropriate - approximately every six to eight thousand (6,000 – 8,000) miles. E. The Contractor must complete the Safety and Preventative Maintenance Checklist (Attachment G) for each vehicle serviced. F. The Contractor must pick up vehicles from the designated Department office to perform required work and then deliver vehicle back to office after work is completed.
