Specifications include, but are not limited to: Quantity five (5) 25 Ton Capacity Non-Tilt Tri Axle Tag Trailers to meet the following specifications: 2.1.1.The trailer is to be the manufacturer’s current heavy-duty design with all standard advertised equipment/accessories provided unless otherwise superseded by these specifications. The delivered trailer shall be certified for highway travel with a 25-ton payload at 50 mph. The trailer must be designed with appropriate weight distribution, (without counterweights) both empty and loaded, to track straight when travelling down the highway. 2.1.2.FRAME: The frame shall be designed with appropriate safety factors and electronically welded where steel meets steel. One-piece tongue, main beam, and beaver tail, cold formed. Main frame beams shall be sized appropriately for weight rating required, 12” deep minimum, and be high tensile steel. Cross members shall be 6” deep, minimum, high tensile steel, and the side members shall be 8” deep, minimum, high tensile steel. All cross members shall be pierced through the main frame on 16” centers maximum. Head rail shall be at least 8”. The trailer shall have a 7” minimum headboard, full width. 2.1.3.UNDERCARRIAGE: The undercarriage shall be equipped with: 2.1.3.1. Three axles, 22,500# minimum rating, with oil wheel seals. Filled with synthetic oil. 2.1.3.2. Provide and install hub meter prior to delivery. 2.1.3.3. Hutch 9700 suspension, or as appropriate for a 25-ton GVWR.
