Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The bidder shall design and specify a cost-effective roof-mounted PV system. The bidder shall also provide the details of this design and its projected performance to allow the Town to assess the proposed design. B. The contractor shall conduct an assessment of the building’s roof in order to guarantee the roof’s ability to support the weight of the solar PV installation. This assessment shall be certified by a Professional Engineer. C. The contractor shall install mounting structures, solar panels, inverters, internal switchgear, cabling and whatever else is required to integrate the solar PV system with the building’s electrical power system and to deliver the proposed system performance. D. The contractor shall work with Eversource to integrate the solar PV system with the existing power system and to ensure net-metering capability.
