Specifications include, but are not limited to: The fence installation project for the composting site generally consists of the removal and disposal of the existing chain link fence, posts, concrete bases, and one gate and to provide and install a new chain link fence with concrete posts with one gate around the leaf waste composting facility. Line 1: The fence installation for the site consists of providing and installing a new chain link fence (approximately 1,900 LF). Layout post locations. Dig post holes up to 3’ deep. Set steel posts in concrete at 8’ spacing. Install and secure 6’ tall chain link fabric between posts. Chain Link Fence will be an 11.5 gauge galvanized chain link fabric with 16 gauge galvanized steel posts and 17 gauge galvanized steel rails. Install 16’ wide Matching Security Gate with fence installation. Dig hinge side post hole to 3’ deep and set post in concrete. Assemble gate, secure mounting hardware, hang gate and fit latch. Line 2: Removal and disposal of the existing 3-foot wood/wire fence (approximately 1,900 LF): concreate bases at spacing no closer than 8 LF, and one gate. Includes restoration and stabilization of disturbed work area. Disturbance anticipated to be minimal.
