Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Vendor agrees to and shall furnish for the price bid all necessary personnel, materials, equipment, supplies and services required to provide and deliver chemicals and supplies in the quantity, type, quality and the frequencies as specified below. 3.2 It is the Vendor’s responsibility to deliver and unload products, in accordance with the specifications in a safe manner which conforms to all applicable statutes, regulations and ordinances. 3.2.1 Unloading shall be performed in a manner commensurate with safety regulations. 3.2.2 The Vendor shall not invoice for any extra charges resulting from difficulties encountered in making deliveries, filling the tanks, or doing any other work required in fulfilling the provisions of this contract. 3.2.3 The Vendor is fully responsible for off-loading of all materials and is additionally responsible for providing all connections, fixtures, pipes, hoses, tools, couplings, etc. necessary to deliver, discharge or unload bulk product into tanks or storage containers. 3.3 Delivery will not be accepted without twenty-four (24) hour prior notice to the County. 3.4 Deliveries of bulk and metered products shall be made by the Vendor in tank wagons or transport trucks, calibrated by the appropriate government agency certified to calibrate dispensing and measuring devices. The County reserves the right to require other methods of measurement of the quantity of product delivered when the temperature is too low for practical operation of the truck measuring device.
