Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The Z Dome, opening its doors in November 2009, is the largest air-supplied facility in the tri-state area at over 85,000 square feet. The facility has a six-lane 230-meter indoor track as well as four (4) multi-purpose courts. The Z Dome was damaged by a snowstorm in December 2024. Many of the rips and tears that the dome incurred were around the doors and mechanical equipment that are attached to the dome. It not only ripped the fabric, but it also damaged some doors and some of the parts and pieces that attach the fabric to these doors and mechanical equipment. Arizon Structures Worldwide, a recognized expert in the fabric building industry, engineered, manufactured and installed the dome for the University. As such, the required parts and repairs are proprietary.
