Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project involves the reconstruction and widening of Markley Street (SR 3020) from south of Main Street to Elm Street, replacement of two bridges over Stony Creek with a single bridge, rehabilitation of the Markley Street/Elm Street stone arch bridge over Stony Creek, widening and reconstruction of Main Street (municipal road) between Water Street and Barbadoes Street, streetscaping on Main Street, widening of Marshall Street (municipal road) between Corson Street and Markley Street, railroad grade crossings upgrades at Main Street and Marshall Street including new gates and signals, new traffic signals at three intersections, Traffic Adaptive Signal Control Systems at seven traffic signals on Markley Street between Main Street and Johnson Highway (SR 3017), installation of ITS network elements on Markley Street and SR 0202 from Norristown Municipality to Lower Gwynedd Township, post construction stormwater management facilities, drainage improvements, sanitary sewer installation/relocation, concrete curb, concrete sidewalk, ADA curb ramps, pavement markings, signing, landscape plantings, highway lighting, and other miscellaneous construction, all as indicated on the drawings approved for STATE ROUTE 202, SECTION 510, in MONTGOMERY COUNTY Norristown Municipality from approximately 1550 feet south of the intersection of Main Street at segment 0030 offset 1715 to approximately the intersection of Johnson Highway (SR 3017) at segment 0080 offset 1274.
