The Massachusetts National Guard Purchasing and Contracting Office (MANG P&C) is seeking market information on vendors capable of providing raw perishable and non-perishable food for meal preparation by MANG cooking personnel. MANG P&C is currently conducting market research to identify qualified and interested potential sources, in particular, small business capability. The information requested by this Sources Sought will be used with the MANG to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the agency.
This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotes (RFQ), or Invitation for BID (IFB). It is not to be constructed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this notice. The US Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice.
Responses to this Sources Sought notice should indicate:
1. An affirmative answer that your firm can provide the requested services, perishable and non-perishable food items.
2. Your firm's socioeconomic classification (small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, etc.)
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
The MANG has a requirement for perishable and non-perishable food items at Fort Indiantown Gap, PA. Raw perishable and non-perishable items are needed by MANG cooking personnel in order to prepare two meals per day (breakfast/dinner) for all training personnel on ground during Annual Training. Annual Training will take place from 27 July 2025 to 08 August 2025 at Fort Indiantown Gap, PA. Approximate headcount for personnel is 225 per meal. An itemized list of food required is attached.
Example menu as follow:
Breakfast: will require milk, juice, coffee, Eggs(whole or liquid), potato, meat (bacon, corned beef hash ,sausage ,or ham), bread, pancakes, French toast, waffles, spices and condiments rotated daily.
Dinner: will require a starch ,vegetable, meat, juice, milk coffee each day, with condiments for each meal.
Delivery of requested items will tentatively occur on 25, 28, 30 July 2025 and 01, 04, 06 August 2025 at Fort Indiantown Gap at the following address:
