Specifications include, but are not limited to: Work with the City’s Agencies, Offices, Departments, and the Office of Innovation & Technology to assist in the planning, design and specification of comprehensive and effective solutions for the City. Clear communications between the client, project manager, business analysts and the other service providers is essential. • Assist in the architecture, security, development and operational readiness of enterprise and department specific solutions. • Develop comprehensive solution specifications per the City’s requirements as requested. This also includes maintenance of these and all other project related documentation. • Provide project communications with project team members both internal and external to the City including status meetings or calls, testing, training, and other project communications. This includes communicating risks and issues (e.g., delays, client scope or requirements changes) to the project manager. • Complete development and testing of assigned project deliverables according to standards and schedule, and meeting or exceeding quality expectations; follow project methodology including discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, implementation (development and testing), and deployment; and work closely with production support and service desk staff to develop operations documentation. • Review and evaluate all solution deliverables to ensure alignment with specified objectives and business needs so they are met efficiently and effectively and adhere to all industry standards and best practices as well as any regulatory requirements.
