Specifications include, but are not limited to: Used Oil – The Contractor shall provide physical testing, spectrographic analysis with complete interpretation of all results. Test report shall also include an interpretation of oil wear particles. New Oil – The Contractor shall provide physical testing, spectrographic analysis with complete interpretation of all results. The report shall include a section, which specifically indicates if the oil (engine, transmission and differential lubricant) meets or does not meet the Port Authority’s oil specification. The Authority will provide the current oil’s product name, product number, Refiner (manufacturer), and API certification number (as available). New reference oils submitted shall be recorded as such and shall be utilized against used oil samples received within thirty (30) days of submittal. Quantity of Tests – Bidders should base their per sample bid prices on the quantities as outlined on the proposal. This number is an estimation for the purposes of bidding only. The actual number of tests may be increased or decreased by the Authority according to the actual requirements for testing during the contract period.
